Acta Sanctorum

Description.	The Acta Sanctorum Database is an electronic version of the complete printed text of Acta Sanctorum, from the edition published in sixty-eight volumes by the Societe des Bollandistes in Antwerp and Brussels. It is a collection of documents examining the lives of saints, organised according to each saint's feast day, and runs from the two January volumes published in 1643 to the Propylaeum to December published in 1940. The Acta Sanctorum Database includes all prefatory material, original texts, critical apparatus and indices. Bibliotheca Hagiographica Latina reference numbers, essential references for scholars, are also included.

Aerial Digimap provides detailed aerial imagery data from Getmapping at various fixed scales. Most data is post-2011 with updates due each year.  Maps can be viewed, annotated and printed and data can be downloaded for use in GIS or CAD software.

ARAS: The Archive for Research in Archetypal Symbolism

Description:	The ARAS archive contains about 17,000 photographic images, each cross-indexed, and accompanied by scholarly commentary. Description:	ARTFL-FRANTEXT is the main database of the ARTFL Project (American and French Research on the Treasury of the French Language). It consists of over 3500 transcribed texts ranging from classic works of French literature to various kinds of non-fiction prose and technical writing from the 12th to the 20th century. Genres include novels, poetry, theatre, journalism, essays, correspondence, and treatises. Subjects include literary criticism, biology, history, economics, and philosophy. Description.	Access to the current issues as well as the complete archive of the Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun. For Asahi Shimbun, issues from 1985 to the present are available as full text; Pre-1985 issues back to 1879 when the newspaper was first published (as Osaka Asahi Shimbun) are available in facsimile format. The Historical Photo Archive contains more than 10,000 photographs, the majority ranging from before and after the Manchurian Incident to the period after the defeat in war.

Description:	Indexes more than 325 current and 3,080 retrospective U.S. and foreign journals on archeology, architecture, city planning, conservation and restoration, interior design, museums and sustainable design. Produced by the Getty Information Institute and Columbia University.
Coverage:	1977 - present.  City planning from 1930s to present.  Updated weekly.
