Brockelmann Online
Brockelmann Online consists of both original volumes Geschichte der arabischen Litteratur (GAL) by Carl Brockelmann (1868-1956), as well as the three supplement volumes, including the indexes. It is full-text searchable. GAL offers bio-bibliographic information about works written in Arabic and their authors, with an emphasis on the classical period. The multi-volume reference work is divided in chronologically organized sections, which are subdivided by literary genre. Individual entries typically consist of a biographical section and a list of the author's works in manuscript and print, with references to secondary literature. See the Transliteration table for Brill Online to see how Arabic, etc. words are romanized. It is best to use Brockelmann Online in conjunction with the print edition.

The core of China: Culture and Society is the pamphlets held in the Charles W. Wason Collection on East Asia housed in the Carl A. Kroch Library of Cornell University. Mostly in English and published between c. 1750 and 1929, and amounting to around 1,200 items in 220 bound volumes. The pamphlets have all been digitised in colour and are full-text searchable. China: Trade, Politics and Culture, 1793-1980
This full-text digital collection is based primarily on unique manuscript materials held at the library of the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), the British Library in London, and supplemented by additional sources from seven institutes, such as the Cambridge University Library. This project provides a wide variety of original source material detailing China's interaction with the West from Macartney's first Embassy to China in 1793 to the Nixon/Heath visits to China in 1972-74. Congressional Record
Floor proceedings of the House and Senate are recorded in the Record. Debates, votes on bills, and text of Senate amendments are usually found only in the Record. Recently material more appropriate to a formal committee report has become available only in the Record, e.g., a bill sponsor's section-by-section analysis. This is particularly true of "rush" legislation (e.g. the USA PATRIOT Act) or bills of a controversial nature (e.g. a revenue bill).

The Ireland Collection, developed in cooperation with Queen's University Belfast, is an interdisciplinary collection of journals and other materials. Over 200 monographs and 2,500 manuscript pages will also be included. Krokodil (1922 -2008) was a satirical magazine published in the Soviet Union and Russia which lampooned religion, alcoholism, foreign political figures and events. Each issue is browsable in full-page views, and full-text searchable tags identify individuals and organizations within the artwork. The marshes of southern Iraq constitute a unique environment, and are of considerable environmental, cultural and economic importance. Because of all this, the marshes have been home to a people—the Marsh Arabs. They are a people whose roots go back to the beginning of civilization. The AMAR International Charitable Foundation's heritage project has been working to help those people whose families left the marshes under the previous regime to reacquaint themselves with their home, history, culture and way of life. The original Burney volumes are now in a poor physical state and only available through restricted use.
18th Century German Literature Online
